Liturgies of Labor: A Liturgy for Conflict at Work

Lord of peace,

enter this place of tension.

Where I am defensive, soften me.

Where I am proud, humble me.

Where I am wounded, heal me.

Give me ears to hear what is true,

courage to admit what is mine to own,

and wisdom to know when to speak

and when to be silent.

Let this conflict become a classroom

where I learn Your patience,

Your gentleness,

and Your reconciling love.

Make me an ambassador of peace,

not because the situation is easy

but because You are present.
