Liturgies of Labor: A Liturgy for Those Who Work Multiple Jobs or Exhausting Hours

O Lord who keeps watch when I grow weary,

I bring You the heaviness of this season.

The long shifts, the late nights, the early mornings,

the feeling that my strength ends long before my work does.

When my body is tired,

teach me to receive Your compassion,

not condemnation for my limits.

When my mind is foggy,

be my clarity.

When my heart feels stretched thin,

be my rest.

Remind me that You are not asking me

to be endless—only faithful.

And when I cannot carry joy on my own shoulders,

carry me.

Use even this weariness for Your glory,

and let me find in You a peace

that outlasts the longest day.

Amen.
